Se acerca. En menos de un mes llega la noche más esperada para los menorquines, la noche de San Juan de Menorca. Durante unos cinco días la isla se transforma, y ya no hablemos de Ciutadella.

A estas alturas del año la melancolía es máxima, para todos aquellos que hemos tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar de estas maravillosas fiestas. PHANG NGA

Panak Island es la más grande de Hong. No hace muchos años que se revelaron las medidas de los Hongs o “salas” que e encuentran dentro de la isla de Phang Nga. Estos microcosmos fabulosos, reinos vírgenes ocultos ricos en flora y fauna, se derrumbaron y formaron sistemas de cuevas abiertas al cielo y rodeadas de imponentes paredes de piedra caliza. Los Hong ocultan un ecosistema único con monos, aves, peces, y además el sonido de los pájaros, completa la tranquilidad. Traté de hacer piragüismo , pero tienes que remar fuerte unos botes inflables a través de cuevas en el corazón misterioso de islas como Koh Panak y Hong Koh.

Panak island is the biggest Hong. It wasn't many years ago that aerial surveys first revealed the Hong , or "rooms", that lie inside some of Phang Nga's islands. These fabulous microcosms, hidden realms rich in unspoiled flora and fauna, are collapsed cave systems open to the sky and surrounded by towering limestone walls. The hongs conceal a unique eco-system with monkeys, birds, fish, and apart from the sound of birdsong, complete quiet. I tried to sea-caoeing , but you have to paddle some sturdy inflatable boats through caves into the mysterious hearts of islands such as Koh Panak and Koh Hong.

Cerca de estas islas pude ver los árboles Rhizophora Estos tienen arqueadas raíces aéreas que emergen desde el tronco, de ahí su nombre científico Rhizophora que significa "portador de raíz" en griego.

Near these islands, I could see the stilt rhizophora trees. These species have arching stilt roots that emerge from the trunk, hence their scientific name Rhizophora which means "root bearer" in Greek. Estas raíces no sólo sostienen el árbol en el barro blando, sinó también son permeables a los gases, sin dejar de ser impermeables a las sales. De hecho, la parte alta de la raíz entera, incluyendo el tronco y las raíces que emergen de las ramas tienen esta característica. Así, las raíces del árbol también ayudan a respirar.

These roots not only hold up the tree in soft mud, but are also permeable to gases, while remaining impermeable to salts. In fact, the entire upper root including the trunk and prop roots that emerge from the branches have this feature. Thus the roots also help the tree to breathe.
Junto a las islas Phi Phi, Phang Nga fue el lugar que más me gustó. ¡Quiero volver!

KHAO TAPU. James Bond island

Continuamos nuestro día de playas y nuestra siguiente parada es Khao Tapu, también conocida para los turistas como "James Bond island". No pudimos ver mucho de la isla porque nos dieron 30 minutos para hacer fotos.

We continued our beaches day and our next stop is in Khao Tapu, also known for tourists as "James Bond island." We could'nt see much of the island because they gave us 30 minutes to take photos.

Khao Tapu és una enorme roca situada de unos 20 metros de altura. Esta roca en forma de columna está situada a unos 200 metros de la costa del islote conocido con el nombre de Ko Khao Phingkan, que en tailandés significa "colinas descansando cada una en otra isla". Las islas se encuentran dentro del parque de Ao Phang Nga.

Khao Tapu is a steep rocky monolith about 20 meters tall. This rock column lies approximately 200 meters offshore of the two-islet pair known as Ko Khao Phingkan, that in thai language lit "hills resting on each other island". The islands are located within the Ao Phang Nga National Park.

Partiendo de Phuket se puede realizar en bote la visita de un día, normalmente te dejan en Ko Khao Phingkan, donde se encuentran las casetas para vender a los turistas y a partir de ahí eres libre hasta la hora acordada para regresar.

Departing from Phuket island, you can do a day-tour using longtail boats usually land at nearby Ko Khao Phingkan, where market booths for tourists are set up and there you are free to return since the hour that had said your guide.

Khao Tapu se ha convertido en una gran atracción turística desde que apareció en la película de James Bond, El hombre de la pistola de oro, en 1974, por este motivo también se la conoce como James Bond Island. Como habréis podido ver, la costa tailandesa ha sido y sigue siendo el escenario de múltiples películas entre otros artes.

Khao Tapu has become a popular tourist attraction since it was featured in the James Bond movie "The Man with the Golden Gun" in 1974; for this reason it is also often refered to as James Bond Island. How you could have read, thailand coast has been and it continues being movies scenes and another arts too.

KHAI NOK

Maya bay, Monkey beach, Khai nok y las siguientes están todas están incluidas en la excursión programada que mi familia y yo decidimos realizar y que si no os hospedáis en una de las islas Phi Phi os recomendamos hacer sin dudarlo.

Khai Nok está situada a unos quince minutos de Phuket en lancha rápida.
Es una hermosa playa de arena blanca rodeada de aguas cristalinas color verde esmeralda, es ideal para nadar, y si tienes suerte tienes la oportunidad de ver un grupo de delfines nadando cerca de la isla, debo decir que yo no la tuve. Lo que sí pude ver era una banco de peces de colores llamativos, que no se asustaban de las personas y podías estar entre ellos y alimentarlos sin ningún problema, además mi padre tuvo la suerte de poder coger un cangrejo (abundantes en todas las playas) ¡pero mala suerte la mía que no me lo pude comer!

Khai Nok is located at 15 minutes east of Phuket with speedboat.
It’s a beautiful snow-white sandy beach surrounded by crystal clear emerald green water, perfect for swimming, and if you are lucky you can see a group of dolphins swimming near the island, but I think that I'm not a lucky person because I didn't saw anything. But I could see a colourful fish bank that didn't scared of people and you could be quietly y feed up without any problem, furthermore my father had a lot of lucky and caught a crab (there are a lot in all beaches) but I wanted eat it and i couldn't!

En el centro de la playa hay grupos de sillas, pequeños restaurantes y pequeñas tiendas que venden recuerdos de bambú, telas, helados, etc.

Lots of deck chair at the center of the beach together with restaurants and small bamboo shops selling souvenirs, cloths, ice cream and so on.

MONKEY BEACH.

Monkey beach está situada en la bahía de Yongkasem, a la que se puede acceder en un corto trayecto en kayak desde Loh Dalum beach (1,1km).

Monkey beach is located in Yongkasem bay, where tourist can arrive with a short kayak trip from Loh Dalum beach (1,1 km).

Hermosa playa de arena blanca y fina rodeada de una exhuberante vegetación tropical en la que, como bien su nombre indica, viven los monos. Éstos se acercan a la playa cuando llegan los turistas para alimentarlos a base de fruta (en el kayak el guía os ofrecerá a cada uno un plátano para alimentarlos). No son nada peligrosos, pero cuando no le quede comida dé un paso para atrás porque es posible que el mamífero quiera más y salte sobre usted. Ahí es cuando se comienza a oír chillidos de las mujeres, generalmente...

It's a beautiful beach with white soft sand and exhuberant tropical vegetation in that, like his name say, live the monkeys. The monkeys come down to the beach when tourists arrive to fet them with fruits (in the kayak they will give you a banana for fed them). They're not dangerous, but be careul, when you hadn't nothing for give them, it's posible that they wanted more and bring on you. It's normal that women begin to scream.

Ocasionalmente, dependiendo de la temporada, la playa puede estar llena de turistas procedentes de Krabi o de Phuket, pero al igual que mi familia y yo, no están más de media hora porque se trata de excursiones que incluyen visitas a las distintas playas y que puedes comprar en cualquier punto de venta de excursiones o alquieres.

Depend de season, the beach can be full of tourists from Krabi or Phuket, but the same of my family and I, they're not more than a half past hour because the trips incluiding different visits to different beaches that you buy anywhere where seld trips.
