La playa del Inglés es posiblemente la más famosa en Europa y a la vez, la más concurrida en cualquier época del año a pesar de sus tres kilómetros de longitud. Entre ésta y la que le sigue, San Agustín, se encuentran dos calas con unos nombres un tanto especiales: Playa de las Burras y Playa del Cochino.
